Truly one of the Caribbean's most unique resorts, Coyaba is located right on Grand Anse Beach - considered by many to be the world's finest. Yes, hurricane Ivan paid them quite a visit in 2004. However, they were careful to retain every bit of their endearing charm in the rebuilding process. Arawak history and culture is reflected throughout the resort, and a harmonious relationship has been maintained between their classic Caribbean interiors and Coyaba's lush surroundings.

Coyaba - Facilities

Want to do more than indulge yourself in bodily pleasures? Coyaba has a full compliment of recreational activities waiting for you. In addition to the full Gym and beautiful pool with its swim-up bar, they offer:

• Complimentary Tennis - including racquets and balls
• Complimentary Golf at the Grenada Golf Club excluding transportation
• Complimentary non-motorized water sports - including snorkeling, Hobie Cat sailing, and kayaking
• Complimentary croquet, table tennis and shuffleboard

If you'd like to indulge both body and mind, Yoga classes are available with instructor Michael French. a qualified Hatha Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates instructor. Michael is also a Reiki Master of the Usui School of Healing and has qualified with the British School of Yoga and the Tai Chi Society of Great England. Sessions are available every Monday and Thursday from 4:30 - 5:30 pm in the Band Stand near the Cacique Lounge. There is a small charge of US$10.00 per session plus tax & service charge.

For those who simply enjoy exercising their elbows, their master mixologist, Stanley, entertains and educates at his drink mixing demonstation every Saturday at 4:30.

Every other Friday they also feature a complimenary Heritage Talk. While taking Tea, guests are given a 40 minute talk about Grenada's history and culture.

Coyaba - Dining & Restaurants

Enchantingly memorable is the only way to describe the dining pleasures of their resort. Grenadian specialties such as Shrimp Bacchanal distinguish the menus of Coyaba's two dining venues. And Guests keep coming back for their wonderful indigenous cocktails, including the Coyaba Colada and Coyaba Special.

Arawakabana Restaurant

This offers gourmet dining including international specialties, as well as traditional Grenadian fare. Dinner is served from 7:00pm to 10:00pm and reservations are required. Please observe the elegantly casual dress code.

Poolside, open-air dining, with an a la carte menu, is available at the casual Carbet Restaurant. Lunch is served from 11:30am to 2:30pm and Dinner is served from 7:00pm to 10:30pm.

Coyaba - Rooms

Overlooking picturesque tropical pool or garden views. Patios have quality teak furniture. Bedroom furnishings are custom made blending calm earthtone colors.

In room features are seating area, striking artwork, bathroom with tub, AC and ceiling fan, mini-fridge, personal safe, Cable TV, tea and coffee service, phone and nightly turndown service.
