A secluded setting amidst tropical gardens on the powder soft white sands of L’Anse Aux Epines on Prickley Bay lends this intimate hotel an exclusive relaxing ambience. Complemented by deluxe suite accommodation, gourmet cuisine directed by Gary Rhodes and attentive service, Calabash makes a delightful retreat for the most discerning traveller.

Personal touches make a stay at Calabash just that extra bit special such as breakfast served by your own maid in the privacy of your suite, tropical fruit on the beach and evening canapés served ensuite, the perfect accompaniment to a romantic pre-dinner cocktail.

Calabash - Facilities

Complimentary watersports (non-motorised) from their beach. Floodlit tennis court, snooker and billiards room, large guest swimming pool, fitness room, shuffleboard and beach boules. Golf course is ten minutes from the hotel and complimentary green fees are available to guests.

Entertainment

Manager's cocktail party once a week at the pool bar or beach bar. Live music for evening entertainment on most nights of the week. We have a TV room which is equipped with a pc for internet use and a Library/Snooker Room.

In the pool area, our fitness room includes a multigym, a rowing machine, a treadmill and a step machine.

Afternoon Tea: Served in the main restaurant.

Canapés: Every evening canapés are served to you in your room.

Calabash - Rooms

Calabash has thirty suites arranged in a horseshoe within eight acres of tropical gardens. The suites are divided into 4 main categories: Westside, Whirlpool, Superior Whirlpool and Pool. All have balconies or patios where breakfast is served by your own personal maid.

All suites have air conditioning, ceiling fans, showers, whirlpool baths, hair dryers, CD player, clock radios, iron & ironing boards, lounge area, patio or balcony, mini bars, wall safes and tea and coffee making facilities.
