The Majestic Colonial Punta Cana is located in Arena Gorda ( Playa Bavaro) next to Macao and 30Kms away from the Punta Cana International Airport, 1 hour from La Romana International Airport and 3 ½ hours from Santo Domingo's International Airport of "Las Americas". The Historic City of Santo Domingo could be easily reached by road in about 4 hrs. Tropical weather with an average temperature of 27-30 degrees Celsius all year around and always touched by a gentle and fresh sea breeze that calms the warm temperatures.

There are several Natural parks for outdoor lovers such as Los Haitises, and several semi deserted islands like Saona Island and Catalina Island. If you are rather interested in a mix of native culture, you will love Altos de Chavon in La Romana and of course the City of Santo Domingo.

Children Are Welcome!

The resort features two separate mini-clubs for the kids. One for the little ones from 3-7 years old and one for older kids from 8-14. A professional staff provides games and activities appropriate to each age group, ensuring the children have the best vacation ever too!

Golf Privileges

The resort's location right next to Punta Blanca Golf Course provides golf enthusiasts with an opportunity to take advantage of playing this gorgeous PGA championship course designed by Nick Price. Resort guests receive special discounts on greens fees.

Spa

For those guests looking for a sanctuary, the magnificent SPA offers a relaxing atmosphere and a mix of body and health treatments. The spa is one of the most complete spas of the area with 3 different ambiances:

The massages area with a beautiful fountain and lush gardens surrounded for 10 cabins with different massages and views to the pool.

The "VIP Room" is a double size cabin with its own independent shower, Jacuzzi and Sauna, Ideal for couples.

The humid area: with 8 different showers, from ice cold to tropical, Swedish, and flavored showers.

Two sauna two Turkish baths an Ice fountain for facial refreshment and a huge Jacuzzi with warm and cold areas. The beauty parlor: with two areas for hair dressing, manicure, pedicure and facial treatments.

Supreme

The Main Buffet restaurant offering Italian and International food with several show cooking areas. Open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Restaurant with air conditioned. Dress code applies.

La Palapa

Beach front restaurant with beautiful views to the sea, its open for Continental Breakfast from 10.30 to 12.30, Lunch as a buffet from 12.30 to 15.30 and Snacks from 15.30 to 18.30.

"La Palapa" restaurant undergoes a transformation at night giving us two different options:

Rodeo Grill

Specialize in Grilled meats. Salad bar for starters and main dish served a la carte. open air restaurant

Tres Carabellas

Specialized in Sea food and fish. Salad bar for starters and main dish served a la carte. open air restaurant

Ma suri

Oriental restaurant offering two different options for dinner: The Tappan-yaki (with reservation) 3 sittings per night and maximum of 10 people per Tappan-yaki. And the a la carte restaurant: with a well assorted sushi bar, oriental food and desserts. ( no reservation required for the Sushi Bar or the oriental a la carte). Dress code applies.

Taino

Caribbean style restaurant open for dinner and closing its doors at mid night. No reservation required. Restaurant with Air Conditioned. The Taino will open again after midnight to remain open till 07.00 offering a selection of Hour d'ouvres, sandwich or snacks.

Le Gourmet

Gourmet style dishes " Nouvelle Cousine" with delicious meat and fish dishes. Open for dinner, only for adults. Dress code applies.

Standard Junior Suite

All rooms are furnished with novel materials and with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 star resort.
