The region enjoys temperatures in the mid 80's throughout the year, with one of the finest climates in the world during the winter months - hot sunshine, cooling breezes and clear blue skies. It's a little hotter during the summer months although tropical showers are more frequent in the autumn. Rainfall is generally overnight or a short sharp downpour in the daytime which is quickly dried up and forgotten.
